A Walmart-like discount school supplies store in Georgia offers $50,000 worth of school supplies to children for the price of a single home.
Gwinett County Schools officials say the discount is to help families with school-age children pay for home care and other costs.
“I think it’s a great way to help our kids get prepared for the school year,” said Gwinett school board member J.D. “John” Kocher.
It’s a big savings for students and families.
Kocher said a typical school day typically lasts eight hours.
The company has a warehouse in Georgia that will provide the supplies for the store.
The company is currently in the process of opening a second warehouse in South Carolina.
