A bus driver who drove off after a driver in a cab crashed into him in Queens has been arrested and charged with reckless driving, police said.
Caleb Jones, 32, of Queens, was arrested Sunday morning on a charge of leaving the scene of a traffic accident and a count of failing to remain at the scene.
He is currently being held at Rikers Island.
He was released on $1 million bail.
He was booked into the Rikers Queens Criminal Justice Center on Sunday.
A bail hearing was set for Wednesday.
The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. on the Queens-bound Cabarrus County Schools bus.
A cab driver was rear-ended by the bus while driving on the northbound side of the highway, police told ABC News.
The driver of the cab then drove into the front of the bus, striking the driver of a Ford F150 truck, which then struck the cab.
The truck’s driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
